Love Each Other*

Jen's Photography posted a photo:

Glace citus rind

I will be visiting people that do not have food allergies/intolerances, so, I have to bring my own goodies (that or go: WITHOUT!!!). This is my first Christmas not eating certain (major) foods. And I haven't gotten fluent enough with this special cooking yet. However, I chose to attempt making some things that I would really like to eat.

On my self created menu would be:

~Pumpkin Pie
~Pecan Pie
~Dark Fruitcake (A tradition passed down from My Grandmother, although her recipe is still tucked in a box somewhere... She would warm brandy then set it to a blue flame for all of us on Christmas night!*)
~Sugar cookies
~Gingerbread cookies

I made everything even the dough for both cookies but by the time I got to them (last) I was all done! So I'll try baking them after Christmas (in the freezer now!).

There was too much going on to have been very exact with these recipes but I will write what I wrote down and can remember after Christmas, sorry guys, I need a break now!

May the light of the Spirit warm you and the world today and always*...
