Fishing boats tied up in Stornoway.

Nikon D5000 with 16-85mm lens. 3 shot HDR in Photomatix. Developed and cropped in Lightroom. Extra enhancements in Photoshop.

Apologies to those who left comments on the previous version of this pic. I wasn't happy with my processing so nuked it and replaced it with this one. Hope you like it.

Nikon D5000 with 16-85mm lens at 16mm. ISO 100. aperture f11. This is a 6 shot HDR with exposures ranging from 1/4 to 1/4000th second. RAW files merged to HDR in Photomatix and tonemapped. Developed and cropped a little in Lightroom. Edited a little more, reduced in size and converted to JPG in Photoshop for upload to Flickr.

Ranish, as viewed from the Beinn Casgro end of Grimshader. The tower on top of the hill once supplied water to the surrounding houses.

Nikon D5000 with 16-85mm lens at 85mm. ISO 100. aperture f8. 3 shots (+-2 stops bracketing) merged to HDR in Photomatix. Developed and severely cropped in Lightroom. Reduced in size and converted to JPG in Photoshop.
