This geriatric hot rodder passed me on the sidewalk like I was standing still. I'm mean talk about the lady from Pasadena, Edna's mobility scooter has got to be a Tim Allen special and there's no way it's legal. Her last words as she was whizzing up the street were, "Its new!"

Alan (not sure of the spelling) is a fellow I've exchange brief pleasantries with over the last several months, but we never actually had a chat. Today we had a chat: mostly it went like this- May I take your picture and do you have the Internet? His answer was that I could and that he didn't. No problem.

Downtown Napanee at night in the fashion district. It was around midnight on a Friday and there wasn't a soul in sight except for a well-known border collie, who, I find it sad to say, was getting quite bored with my not paying attention to him.

Ken is one of my neighbours who just happened to be in front of my camera at the very moment I chose to trip the shutter. I don't think he's ever seen any of my stuff before so he may be a little surprised when he sees the shot.

I didn't ask or get his permission to shoot him, but I figure anyone who runs around with a 17mm Tilt-Shift lens on his brownie is fair game.

If you know what a St. Croix fishing rod is then you'll be impressed by the fact that this feller sells 'em wholesale! I was/am.

In another life I once had enough dough to buy a St. Croix flyrod, but only from eBay, and man oh man what a fine piece of equipment that was. I suppose it's true that money can't buy happiness, but it'll sure as heck get you some decent fishing tackle.

One of these days I'm going to have to learn how to consistanty take sharp photos. So many I shot of Lee were blurred and it's not because she was moving, it my old-man-shake at work. Oh well. If my tripod weren't so darned heavy and cumbersome (oh how I miss the Leitz Tilt-All that I'd lost) things might be different. At least a few of Lee's shots were sharp so I guess it doesn't really matter in the end.

An easy place to find Jim these days is on the patio of the Loaf N' Ale. He was in the company of a few of his rowdy pals and it was easy to get off a couple of candid shots of him. Real easy. Even when I asked him to hold up his beverage I don't think he really knew I was there. Jim lives in the same building I do; I think he's a neat guy.

I've seen Chris around town quite often, but never got near enough to ask to shoot him. To-day that changed. It turned out that he knew who or what I am and that he's seen my stuff on-line…and he still let me take his picture. Amazing, eh?

While I was shooting another feller this guy snuck up behind me, when I turned around he stuck his tongue out at me. Funny. So I asked him to hold it a second while I took a shot, but I forgot to hold the camera still. Too bad. Before I had a chance to get his name he was off and running, as best one can with a walker.
