I've been shooting lots of client work lately which is amazing, especially engagement sessions which are some of my favorite shoots.

Here's a shot from last night. I was mixing it up and trying some auto FP high speed sync stuff since I've been so inspired by Ryan Brenizer's work lately. Very little edits on this one.

Another shot from the sesssion I did with Julie and Mike. This is probably my second favorite shot from that day, and I haven't posted it yet cause I was waiting to add some textures.

Well I finally got some really great textures, and after some experimenting, think I ended up with the edits that perfectly compliment this beautiful moment between these two.

Thoughts/questions on the editing anyone?

First Trash the Dress

Did my first trash the dress session last night. Here's one of my favorite frames. We were both in the freezing cold Bay of Fundy for this, but it was totally worth it! Jen was amazing and didn't look cold once! A total pro if you ask me!

On a technical note, I just love the capabilities of the D700 at high ISO. It was almost too dark to focus when the picture was taken.

Just got back from vacation and here's one of my favorites from the trip. Probably my personal favorite HDR shot that I've done.

A combination of 4 exposures that I dialed in manually because my 3 shot bracketing wasn't giving me the range i wanted.

When god gives you lemons...make lemonade. Or something like that.

In this case, I couldn't get a shot of the evening sky without power lines in it (I even climbed up on the roof where this shot was taken from), so I went with it and incorporated the power lines as part of the shot.
