Even with the mid morning sun high in the sky there was still something magical about this scene.

I took several portrait shots and stitched them together to make this large hi-res panoramic which is packed with detail.

At San Josef Bay in Cape Scott. Sometimes you just can't get the shot you were hoping to get so you turn around and see what's on offer.

Long after the sun went down I was biding my time so that I could get long exposures on the waves. This is the northern most tip of Nanoose Bay and the waves were pretty active.

Just 1 mile away at Pacific Shores the water was dead calm so I expect this peninsula acts as a shield against rougher seas.
