View from the Top of the Rock - Rockefeller Center. It's a fab view. I'd need the same weather to really tell if the view from Empire State Building is better, worse, or just different. But still, it's an incredible view, and you can see the Empire State Building from here!

Another view of Manhattan from Brooklyn. This one taken with the wide angle fisheye lens - not as wide as possible so the distortion is not as noticeable. Really happy with how this came out!

Tell me you don't expect a bat signal or a caped crusader to pass by any moment?

It was the almost graphic feel of this photo, like a page out of a comic book, that ultimately led me to a layered and textured take on this image to emphasize that feel.

View from the Empire state building - I can't really compare the view from the Top of the Rock because I had much better weather from the Rock versus ESB. Still, quite dramatic how the city unfolds before you, no?

Another southerly view from the ESB. The city streets are very arterial at night. You really get a feel for how much traffic there is down there and how vast the city is.

First view of the Brooklyn Bridge from my boat tour. Don't worry - there are plenty more shots of it yet to be seen. I crossed that bridge twice that day and again a couple of days later.

Looking south from the Empire State Building. About the middle of the picture the triangular building is the Flatiron. There's a speck in the harbor that's the Statue of Liberty and you can even make out the wee Brooklyn Bridge to the left.
