Funny pose of a whee small red eyed fly. The bokeh colors are from our hydrangea and the fly is sitting on the tip of a fern in front of it.

This image almost shows the whole daily cycle of life into one photo. From bright morning to late night.

And no it is not a time-lapse or anything fancy like that. Though It did involve me getting very very low to the ground to get both sunlight and the shadow of the hedge in. I aimed at the border of the edge to align the flowers with transition area from light to dark.

I think it looks best in the lightbox!

Finally, Sun today so I had some light to play with :)

Shot with my 50mm @ f/1.8 and some extension rings.
