It is true! Life is all those things and more.

If you have many unsaid, unexpressed feelings taking up space in your life, say them out loud. Rejection is not as bad as regret, express your feelings. If you have not told your loved ones, your family, your friends that you love them, then go ahead do it right now. Hug them a lot, kiss them a lot and tell them you love them a lot. Life is short.

If you are hanging on to bitterness because somebody hurt you. Let it go, cause the only person getting affected by that is you. Let go of negative feelings, forgive and forget. Its not easy but channelize your negative feelings into something creative...art, music, sports, anything that can provide an outlet for them. Life is too beautiful.

If you are hurting somebody, cheating, taking them for granted. Maybe you should stop and think and change while you have a chance. Respect others especially those you love. Honesty, integrity, transparency, loyalty, respect, these are not just words, they actually mean something. Life is precious.

If you are stuck in a rut and don't know how to get out of it, then seek help. If you have dreams you want to pursue, find the courage to pursue them. Again, failure is not as bad as regret of never having tried.You may not always be able to choose the situations you are put in, but you can always choose how to respond to them. Take control, because it is your life. Life is unexpected.

Be the best you can, let the darkness within be transformed into something positive, a legacy of art, let the light within shine bright and dazzle to make this life worthwhile! Life is exciting.

Its amazing how the smallest of things can bring a great lot of joy. We saw this peacock while driving around Sentosa. I squealed with delight and even before the car could stop completely, I jumped out of it in almost action movie style stunt :D (Or atleast that is how I remember it ;) Anyway, turns out I did not have to hurry at all, because this dude here was in it for serious business. He had many a suitors around to woo, and he just did not care that there were people around him, shoving the camera into his face. Now that is what I call focus ;)

Got loads of pictures with this beauty and really had fun time with my friends doing so! I hope the sight of him brings you as much happiness as it did for us!

There, I said it out loud! :) I know those of you who know me from long back must be stunned right now. You must be wondering if I am an imposter and I have done something with your friend :P I mean, I have always stayed out of the kitchen and was never fond of food...Until now...cause now, I am in love with food- finally. I really have only one person to thank for making me fall in love with food ;)

The best compliment I have got about my cooking is when my friend said my cooking reminded him of his mom's cooking! That made me so happy, cause his mom is a great cook! *Beam* I feel the happiest when people feel happy eating what I cook! (Yeah, GASP! I have changed ;) So, all in all, I love cooking :)

Hope I ll get to cook for some of you soon :-* for the rest here is my photographic presentation of my food!(Glad I get to do some food photography too this way and I do love my 50mm ;) Keep shining folks! There is so much to life! =)

Somebody asked me what was the thought behind this capture...though I would leave the interpretation to the imagination of the viewer, this is what I had was my thought behind it...
in the dark recesses of her mind where she hid painful memories, behind the ordinary humdrum and the deceptive fog...once in a while a forgotten thought spread its wing and pierces through her defenses and causes her unbearable pain...that was the thought..the birds on the branches being the ordinary, the tajmahal representing repository of her pain and that crow being the hurtful thought that returned to her mind :)

Oh yeah...its the month to celebrate love and so celebrate we shall!! (Now don't be boring and say that you do not need a day or month to celebrate love and all that! Of course it should be cherished everyday, but then why let go of any chance to make extra fuss over your loved ones?) The night was her enemy, the incessant cacophony of the day, her friend. As the night alighted, the silent screams in her head pounded at the sinews of her fragile being. They reverberated through her soul like an opera singer's glass breaking soprano. The urge to howl, run out and hurl herself into the welcoming, dark, cold ocean waves was intense. She would retract instead, into a fetal position... and rock herself back and forth to sleep, ever fearing what awaited her in her dreams.

The night was her enemy, cause he would be there on the other side of awakedness, waiting with his disarming smile, and her heart would literally stop pounding as if with overdose of some high octane drug. He would smile at her and she would be shattered yet again. In this weird cocoon of her mirrored subconscious, he was still hers. In her dreams, he was hers. He was hers (in dreams). The night was her enemy.
