Yes, this is another picture of me without makeup, I just didn't feel like putting stuff on my face this morning. In fact, I didn't feel like doing anything today. I didn't go to my lecture and tried working on projects instead, which went okay but not nearly as successful as I'd hoped. I don't know what it is, I'm just always a bit tired these days.

And the new Flickr is weird and different, but I don't mind the change. We'll all get used to it.

Dear love,
I remember sitting on your bed on that Saturday afternoon one year and four months ago and you asked me if spending so much time together meant that we were officially going out.
Well, 16 months later, I am still sitting here right next to you (not in your room on your bed anymore, but on the sofa I bought for our living room), so this might tell you something.
And let me just tell you, I don't remember when I went from thinking I was going to be forever alone to accepting that being with you was what I wanted the most and that I had probably fallen in love with you, but that must have happened somewhere along the way and it was such a great relief to know that you felt the same, and still feel the same.
Thank you for being so patient and helping me take pictures almost every day lately (like today).
Thank you for being my best friend without even realizing it.
I love you so much.

Who needs a tripod when you have a boyfriend? Definitely not me.

The upper picture was taken this afternoon when we paid my Mom's house a short visit, I used to take photos there all the time (here, here, here, here, here and here and there's even more pictures on my stream that I since put on private); the lower one is from a short walk we took this evening.

I didn't bother to get ready this morning, just put my hair up in a bun and then I spent literally all day editing 400+ wedding pictures and only left the sofa for half an hour to take a short break and walk to the nearest supermarket to buy some groceries.

(I have been thinking a lot about my body image, self-confidence/self-esteem and beauty lately and this is self therapy.)
