Frit-patterned minimalism?

W - a new hotel/casino/restaurant in London's West end. The glass has a polka dot effect - I'm not sure of the process but the effect is similar to the frit-pattern glass of Jean Nouvel's One New Change. The overall effect is nothing special but a bit more interesting in closeup.

I like the hint of pink beneath a fishnet pattern...

I don't normally do reflections but I just love this combination. The dark tint to the glass gives a perfect muted reflection and makes the right angle at which the two surfaces connect almost undetectable, giving a false impression of perspective.

I know this won't exactly be a smash hit on here but I just love this sort of thing, as I expect you all know by now. I dedicate this to sunny-drunk as I know he likes this sort of thing too, is kind to rabbits (most of the time), and most importantly because it is rumoured to be his birthday today. I went to Paddington Basin recently to find that, despite all the building work, it hadn't changed a huge amount since my last visit. However I did renew my relationship with these lovely vents at Waterside House.
