One of the expats from Slutwalk Delhi. The Indian women were of course much more conservatively dressed. And the Indian men supporting the movement kinda outnumbered Indian women. Media was in full force too.

Dear Flickr friends,
I am displaying some of my selected works at Epicentre, Gurgaon. You are invited.

Twilight Fairy (Priyanka) is a computer engineer by profession and a photographer by obsession. Born in Delhi and brought up all over India, she has multicultural values. She is a "memories" person and through her photography she seeks to document her own personal experiences, observations and thoughts. This way she shares with others the beauty, diversity and irony of the world around her. Apart from observing, distilling and presenting in a very different manner - normal things which otherwise escape notice, she also indulges in metaphorical expression and symbolism through her images.

Priyanka has earned recognition and respect in the photography field. Her photographic prints have been bought by some respected collectors in this field. Her work has been seen in mainstream media print, and she has also received a "best woman photographer" award in 2007, given by Times of India and Canon.

As the images of other photographers have inspired her to explore her own world, she hopes her own contributions will inspire many others to do the same.

Some selected works are being displayed at "Art Mart", Epicentre, Gurgaon.

The exhibition is from Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:00am to Sunday, March 1, 2009 till 8:00pm

Purana Quila or the old fort, as lit up at twilight today :).

I particularly like the shadows of the fence and the way the night creeps in. No editing whatsoever in this shot.

Dear Flickr friends,

I am putting up "Evanescence" a fine art photography show.

About the exhibition
Evanescence denotes things which are transient. They could be events, people, objects, thoughts, feelings, glances or moments which are ephemeral in nature. But they certainly do exist and that presence has been captured by me in this series. Through "Evanescence", I string together various slices of life with shots snatched from the streets, fleeting moments seized just before they disappeared or almost imperceptible moments of history grabbed from eras gone by.

Opening : 6pm till 9pm on May 28, 2010 (Join us for snacks and drinks)
Venue : Bagel's Café, D-140, The Shopping Mall, Arjun Marg, DLF City I, Gurgaon
Exhibition Dates : May 28, 2010 till July 8, 2010
Opening Times : Daily 8am to 10pm

The showcased photographs will be available as Limited Edition prints.
