I was very late starting on my Life Journal class. This is as far as I got when I realized I have the wrong orientation of the page. So Now I have to start again as if I wasn't behind already! Oh by the way I did this in pen and ink and copic markers except for the background which was watercolor.

I just finished the background of a journal page I am particularly proud of. After the multicolored background lay dormant for a month, I was making salad yeaterday when I thought I could make "celery roses" with the base I cut off the Romain Lettuce hearts. I got carried away with the stamping and filled the page. I love it!

I've heard of celery rosees but here is my version. Romain roses. After making my salad the core of the Romain lettuce spoke to me....stamp...stamp....stamp.

This is not my invention. I just had to share this wonderfully Mathamatical doodle. It comes from a video (toward the end for this version) based on a squiggle. But be warned- it is complicated- but oh so fun.

I drew this Mandala on a blue grey paper which was hard to color. It changes all the hues. But I used the Challange 51 tangle - Fife around the outer edges. This is on 8" square paper.The Fife is so fine I had to use a magniging glass to color the black background.
