Upon opening the front or back door this cat will often dart into the house. On quite a few occasions she has gone from one door straight to the other as if just using us as a short cut through.
Other times she is seeking attention and wants a fuss.

Originally a timber-framed tudor farmhouse built for John Fetherston in the 16th Century. It was purchased by Alfred Ash in 1904 and later inherited by Graham Baron Ash in 1925.
The house was donated to the National Trust in 1941 and is a grade 1 listed building.

This is three exposures from a single RAW file manually merged.

Shattered!

Whilst cooking a meal and placing the pan lid on the pan the lid shattered. Alternate plans were needed for dinner as we didn't fancy eating glass shards.

However before throwing it away it needed a few shots with some macro tubes and an old M42 Pentacon 50mm lens. This is roughly about a 1 inch/2.5 cm section of the lid.

Carrots were originally white before science started messing with them, but I think these carrots are far more funky than the boring bright orange ;-)
I think I'll stick to meat as they can't mess with that can they? ;-)

Playing around in Photoshop and as often happens ended up with something completely different to what I initially intended. Added colour to the nuts which I think now look more like macaroons.
