Finally push myself out the door tonight with camera bag in had ,,, its been a few months since I've posted anything, I hope to amend and get out a few days a month. sky was overcast but it cleared in the last hour before sunset.

I will try and catch up soon with you all :)

A nice calm evening with nice end to the day. I used a 3 stop half Grad Filter to compensated for the bright sky

Hause Gill waterfalls

This set of small waterfalls was beside a quiet single track road, with only a passing place to stop I quickly set up the camera took a 30sec exposure with my 10 stop ND filter ( first time ive used it) hopefully to give the desired effect I wanted.

It was mainly an overcast day when the sun bust through late afternoon. I used an half grad ND filter and a polarizer filter, i was kinda annoyed that I left my tripod in the car though

Another night with wet feet as the sun set over Cumbrae but I was reasonably happy with this shot even with the lack of cloud definition in the sky.

I have been forced to practice my B+W photography due to this spell of overcast dull weather ..I'm never fully comfortable with it how a mono picture should look but today the cloud broke a little to give it some definition in the sky which I was grateful for.

This was taken same time as previous post about 10.15am. I debated about posting it then thought, I like it anyway. There is hardly any post processing in this capture, just levels and curves adjustment in Photoshop. I also used for the first time a right angel viewer on the camera .. this Nikon item was a bit pricey but it seems to work well when composing low level shots on a tripod.
