BURGUNDY INDIAN AMULET JOURNAL with SILVER BEADS

upcycled burgundy leather that has the natural raw edge at the front, a lovely silver Indian amulet which has agate, red jasper & carnelian stones and little ghungrus (bells) has been sewn securely to the front with Irish waxed linen thread.

a long strap in matching leather has been attached with silver studs.

handsewn in longstitch & kettlestitch with black Irish waxed linen thread using my own pattern & 2 sllver beads.

Each of the recycled 80gsm kraft paper pages has been hand torn and
there is a paisley image (stampfransisco) stamped on the first page with archival ink.

a mini book with a folded cover and a wisteria image stamped on first page, has been sewn into the book block in the first secton.
a small handmade envelope with a stamped image has been attached to the back page.
journal - acid free conquerer contour vellum (Arjowiggens UK) 100gsm that has a rippled effect, these pages have been folded back to back so each double page spread has the same texture & recycled kraft 80gsm with the edges treated.
mini book - cover - acid free cream rippled card 190gsm & ecorcern 100% recycled 105gsm.

stamped images - thats all she stamped & love you to bits. in archival coffe ink.

attached to the front with brass studs is a matching double wrap closure with a brass buddah charm and a brass indian bead on the end.
the om symbol has been stamped on the inside front cover and buddah on the first page. images - cherry pie art.

curious soft touch whipped cream by Arjowiggins (France) FSC certified & environment friendly, acid free 120gsm, this paper has a lovely soft vellum/felt feel on one side, this is a one of a kind in paper that has been placed back to back so each open section has the same texture, mixed with doggit recycled kraft paper 80gsm. edges have been treated to look aged.
