The new Vanquish; in my opinion, probably the best looking car that exists. This thing looks so freaking cool, sounds insane and has insane presence. Owner was nice too, just an awesome machine, parked up outside a cafe in Double Bay, East Sydney.

Taken as this epic Scuderia rolled up to the Italian Embassy in convoy with a 458 and a 360CS. I love this colour on the Scuderia, haven't seen many like it.

Another rare Lancia from Auto-Italia, this time an 037 in Martini Racing Livery. This thing looked epic and drew looks from almost everyone.

This thing, believe it or not, is the only right hand drive converted 037 in the world. Here is some info from a forum member:

"Started as a street car, shown at Northern Ireland motorshow. Bought off stand, converted to RHD and did Irish rally as a privateer entry. Has some competition bits but isn't a factory race version. "

One of the better finds from the weekend, and one of the worse photos. Oh well I had never seen a Stratos before so felt somewhat obliged to upload at least one photo of it. Also here are the silver Ferrari 512 bbi and the red 328 GTS

Don't know much about this car, it has a Hamann body kit and 'Edition Race' wheels, not sure if anything has been done internally or just cosmetics.

This was parked at the Italian embassy in Canberra, not entirely happy with this photo largely because of the old guy on the left but he just got out of a Lancia Stratos so I forgive him :)

A lone Diablo sitting by itself after all the other Lambos left Auto Italia at Old Parliament House in Canberra. I love the look of this thing, I hadn't seen one of these in the metal for so long and forgot how good they looked.

Lamborghini Countach + Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni at the National Arboretum in Canberra

This was taken before setting up the group shot for the Lamborghini Club, I loved how both these cars looked especially with the mountains behind them and that sky. Later a convoy of the Lambos (including these 2) went for a drive through the mountains and I rode in the Balboni for half of it, it sounded amazing.

So my photostream is about to get alot more lively.
This weekend Marcus Curran and I did a photoshoot for the Lamborghini Club of Australia at the National Arboretum in Canberra, went for a ride through the mountains with a good number of the club in various cars, Got invited to the Italian Embassy in Canberra with the Lamborghini Club and attended Auto Italia at Old Parliament House.
Fair to say I have photos to upload of Italians of all sorts in the upcoming days/weeks so stay tuned for photos from everything this weekend.

This particular photo was of a few of the Ferraris leaving Auto Italia, I really liked the plates on the 458 Spider and the road they drove down to leave looked awesome. Unfortunately at times the sharpness of the 70-200 can be a double edged sword, such as here when there were a million tiny reflections on the cars.

Pretty standard spec for the 458, but still a great looking car. Parked at The Star a little back from the fake SV in my last upload. Pretty weird photo but I like it.

Despite what you may think this is actually just a standard 2004 Murcielgao in SV dress. Quite convincing from the front, less so from the side and pretty easy to pick from the back where the exhaust is completely wrong. Shame really but still a very interesting car to see. Spotted at the Star Casino Valet, later there was quite a lineup behind it.

Taken at the end of an epic cruise from West Sydney to end up here, at the rocks. Both sides of the streets were lined with all sorts of cars from Australian muscle cars to Japanese Imports to dozens of AMG's and the supercars you can see here, as well as many more. A couple of the more exotic highlights are shown here with the new facelift R8 V10 Spider and the BATM4N Lambo LP640. Since I was mostly doing video this will be the only photo you'll see but I'm glad I did video because the sounds of this massive convoy rolling through Sydney was simply unbelievable.
You'll have to excuse the quality somewhat as it was completely dark at this point and ISO6400 was necessary.
