Last summer I moved back to Colorado from Wisconsin. I ran into this just west of Grand Island, NE. I posted a photo of this last summer, but since then I have discovered autostitch, which allowed me to stitch together all the shots I took of this storm (I couldn't fit it in one frame when I was snapping pics)

I decided to drive through this rather than wait it out. Cars were pulled off the road, the radio was blaring with all sorts of warnings to seek shelter and get underground, and from what I could see on my map and around me, I was a very small distance from a major tornado (they were describing its fury on the radio amidst the severe weather warnings). I couldn't tell for certain, though because it became as black as night for about an hour until I broke through the other side.

It was pretty, though. You can tell by comparing the 2 photos that not only did I stitch the photos together, I also adjusted the color a little (I warmed it, since the blue washed so much of the color out)
