A 4 day awakening.

So, the past few days have been an eye opener. Infact more than an eye opener, it was a rude but positive awakening I have needed for possibly my whole life.

Thing is, I know who I am, but growing up as a kid, I always let others influence me and I listened to their words and sadly I still do. I've been called pretty much every name in the book and have been made fun of for my crooked uneven teeth and while growing older and older, I have listened to these negative words from people I call my friends.

Oddly enough, I don't know why I keep these dipshits around. I continue to listen to their words and I have even started to believe it. 30 years old and I let other people dictate who I am.

But after these past 4 days and the events that have occured, I found out very quickly who my legit friends are. After I delivered my news to a few certain people, not one person of who I told, said I deserved it or anything, which is what I was expecting. But oddly enough, the people who I never speak to, were very quick on me and DMing and asking me all these questions and it's like, you're not my fucking friend, back off my shit.

Only certain people know why I choose the life I live and why I continue to live it. But I got the best talking to I have ever had in along time. It hurt, but not in a sad way but in a, I wrote a paragraph on who I currently am and how I feel about myself and it finally hit me that I don't like who I am and that I have let all these years of negative words dictate on how I see myself. Tonight as I was talking to this old friend of mine who I fully opened up to, she said to me, "Once you purge out those people, you'll have less distraction and be able to focus on cleaning up You. You're capable and have huge potential. But you need to realize it. All this non sense is cluttering your ability to think straight. The only opinion that matters is God's. No one can judge you, but Him. Be proud of who you are. Make more consciously aware decisions weighing the potential consequences. There's something to be said about people that live in the moment like you do, but you're trying to fit in too hard. Make your own crowd."

So after these 4 days of bad news to good news, crying, stress, people trying to dig in my business to the people who just sent me a message of, 'I hope you're okay' has given me, the biggest eye opener awakening I have ever needed.

I choose to no longer live my, "I'm in the moment" life to something more. It's time to own up to my actions, get a new cell phone number, delete my FaceBook accounts for awhile and start fully fresh over within time.

I am so thankful for this week and everything that has happened to me good and bad. But living in the moment is getting me no where and I am ready to go somewhere. I can't believe this is as far as I have gotten in life. 30 years old and can't put 2 + 2 together until now. It's embarassing but I am so thankful for this horrible wonderful past week.

But been busy working and quitting one of my places of employment. I am slowly but surely on my way of where I want to be.

When asking friends for a hat to borrow or to keep, make sure it fits before leaving. If I was bald, this would fit perfectly.

I also forgot how hard it is to shoot in this style of hat and to wear it. Dang.

Straight up shitty week. Working a double on Valentines Day open to close. My Mother took it upon herself to help Korie make her Valentines Day box, I know it is something little but it really pissed me off. Then just other little things added upon it, is making it worse. So, needless to say, right after I got of the shower last night and started to put ona fresh thing of makeup, I wasn't able to leave and me being me, I finished getting ready, through on my Compton tank and proceeded to be a badass.

Brooklyn Rules and so does my blue hair.

So, I'm pretty much a bad ass and managed to get myself suspended from work. Rad, right?! So in the meantime, I have this whole week off and I will be city shooting and that's it.

It's also hard to model a beer can without looking stupid.

Just trying something semi different.

Good news is, I am on my way to getting to bartend again. Just a few regular closing shifts at night and then back to being behind the bar where I belong. Thing is, I like bartending and I like bar people and shooting the breeze with regulars. Not having to deal with children is a huge bonus!

30th birthday is coming up and I want to do something fun. I don't care if it is getting on a plane and going somewhere. I want to go do something. Far away from here.
