I captured this image at the "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge in Sanibel Island, on the southwestern coast of Florida. Jan (jannagal visiting Sanibel from up north) and we were driving down the Ding Darling road when we spotted half a dozen photographers shooting this little guy. We joined them and this was one of the resultant images. Speaking for myself and my wife, we had a great time. The lunch and Jan's company were great, but unfortunately most of the birds were somewhere else that day. We hope to join forces again and hope for better shooting next time.
