I don't think anyone around here is endangered by this. It floods every year at some point, so you don't build in the flood plain. Further downstream near Monroe, it can be a problem.

Last year we had an early spring. This year Spring compensates by being agonizingly late. The Raisin has over flowed its banks with two weeks of clouds and rain. The sun is supposed to shine today, although the temps remain cold.
