Indri's new workplace is the brand-spanking-new Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael's Hospital in downtown Toronto. It's a spectacular building -- and, best of all, there's a place to buy spinach shakes in the lobby. And Starbucks.

This is my good friend Joanna. We both met in 2007 as we left Toronto together to teach English in Japan as part of the JET Programme. She and I parted ways in 2008 as she decided to return to Canada while I ended up staying for five year. Nothing keeps a good friendship down, though, and as luck would have it we were able to meet up again during my recent visit to Toronto. A lot may have changed in the four intervening years, but one thing has stayed the same: Joanna can't resist stopping to smile for a camera!
