Announcing New Driver Recognition Programs

We are excited about the enhancements to Schneider’s driver recognition program for 2013. Although we have the Advantage Club for drivers with more than seven years of service, we also want to recognize the many driver associates who have six months and five years of service. Our individual lines of business will implement programs that will reward driver associates for hitting specific milestones on their way to membership in the Advantage Club.

Advantage Club improvements. The original purpose of the Advantage Club was to recognize associates for their commitment, continued dedication and contribution to the Schneider Way and our Core Values. We believe loyalty and commitment translate into a great experience for the customer, and a satisfied customer leads to continued growth and opportunity.

We are enhancing the Advantage Club by welcoming company drivers who have reached their fifth year of consecutive service. Previously, only drivers with more than seven years of service were eligible. This significant enhancement enables a larger population our driver associates to enjoy the benefits of membership. Some of the core benefits of membership include:

• An Advantage Club patch
• Advantage Club card to be used for discounts at the Schneider Company Store and 10 percent discounts on food at Schneider Operating Centers
• Personalized name badge and lanyard
• Eligible for Advantage Club events including the popular professional football weekend and regional professional races.

Schneider drivers are the epitome of professionalism in the transportation industry. I am very proud and feel fortunate to be associated with you because you take such good care of our customers (among many other things). It’s a great time to be a Schneider associate – we are poised for success because of the transformation to OTM and Workflow. This year is going to be an outstanding and I can’t wait to see all the great things we are going to accomplish together.

On behalf of Schneider, I want to thank you for the selection of the CDL talent you have identified for Schneider this week! Over half of the orientation class came from your training system.
I am looking forward to collaborating with you and National Able Network to select and fund future CDL drivers for our industry! With a minimal length of training, most new drivers enter a high demand occupation at starting compensation near $40,000 - $50,000 per year.
