This is Ahmed from work... He is a bit of a photo-hobbyist like my self and today we started talking about doing low key shots, which resulted in me packing out the camera and ring flash...

Yes, I often have my entire camera bag with me to work...(lenses, speed lights and all)

The old veggie market seen from a far... The buildings facing and visible from the train tracks are covered in graffiti, but the buildings not visible from the train tracks are "naked"... I never thought that graffiti-folk where that selective... :)

Hopefully there is some logic to the new flickr, personally I'm still trying to comprehend all of the changes that have been made to the layout as well as to the subscription and account types...

IMO, the new layout seems like an attempt to mimic 500px and Google+... and it looks to become more expensive to be a Pro user (ad-free), going from 25$ to 50$, limiting Pro's and Free's to 1 Terabyte of images... So correct me if I'm wrong, the only difference is the ads, right..?

My girls where baptized some three months ago and we (stressed parents) never got around to sending out "thank you" cards to the guests and the people who gave the girls a present. So we/I thought that it was only fitting that the overdue card was extra personal...

Who in their right mind stacks pallets this high...

Taken at the famous (in denmark) Grønttorvet (translates into something like Veggie Market) where all the grocers in Copenhagen, and all of Sealand for that matter, come and get their veggies. It is a huge area with lots of ramps like the one in the shot and some of the larger grocers have their own warehouse or HQ in an outer circle of buildings, properly for faster delivery.

But the place has seen better days, it looks very run down, but from a photo-geeks perspective it looks great... Lots and lots of character... More shots from "The Old Veggie Market" to come in the following days... :)

One of the many many crosses at Vestre cemetery and certainly one of the most interesting in the lot.

If you ever wondered why the Pax symbol appears everywhere in a cemetery, it's because it is the latin word for peace (and the name of the roman goddess of peace). I wondered, but luckily my girlfriend is a historian.

My family taking a break from the daily routines.

Have a great weekend and remember that sometimes it's family that's the most rewarding thing to take pictures of, and it's moments like these that's worth remembering in a frame.

I sometimes get all caught up in processing images, updating flickr and attempting to blog somewhat frequently, that I forget to take the time to appreciate what's right in front of me. This image now greets me every time I pick up my cellphone, to remind me of just that. :)
