As I continued my walk, the last raincloud exits right of the image, and I can unwrap my camera from inside of my coat. The headland jutting out is at Minehead.

Sunrise over the outer harbour, yesterday, in Brixham, S. Devon. The 1st day of my holiday, and at last, some time to relax.

I am sitting in the awening at the side of the caravan, this morning, as the weather is rather blustery. Have just spent about 3 hours updating the laptop to get images on to Flickr. Will catch up with you all during the day.

Farm gateways on Kipscombe Farm, Countisbury. A view above the cliff tops, Exmoor.

This was one of two sunny days we had, but the wind was very blustery, and I got wet walking back to the car!!

The Moody Blues always were a favourite of mine! The Bristol Channel at Kilve, on the Jurassic coast looking towards Minehead.

A Stroll With My Camera

Quantock Hills - Nether Stowey Walk. Image 16
The whole walk can be viewed in my set Nether Stowey

......continued.....After about 4 hours and 6 miles, I am now taking the last of the images in this walk. Just behind the houses can be seen the Castle mound (where the man is exercising his dog), the remains of a motte and bailey construction, built in the 11th century, demolished in the 14 century. Beyond the Castle are the islands of Steepholm and Flatholm in the Bristol Channel. Unfortunately the weather was not very good for a clearer image. I hope you have enjoyed this series the complete journey can be seen here .
