Week 10/52

I started high school today!!! I love all my teachers already :)

I felt that this weeks photo should express how basically every teenager feels when starting school. So yea.

Inspired. I took another photo more like hers, but I liked this better.

This is my collection of sand dollars from this year and last year. There is actually a total of 53 pieces, here is only 42. I couldn't get it all even so.

I have a photo of this on film too, so that'll be uploaded sometime. Yea, I'm sending out a roll of film to be delevoped tomorrow. Is $2.99 plus $1.99 s&h a good price for developing?

This amazing girl who is beautiful, fantastic, and probably a better friend than most and who goes by the name of Morgan made me a friendship bracelet and sent me a letter and yes be jealous.

I love your handwriting Morgan. And the drawing. And the entire story with the red string and oh gosh this is so special.

Let me explain the whole concept.

In language arts, we are reading the book Copper Sun (aka the best book ever). We have to write 8 journal entries as an african in their homeland, on the ship, as a slave, and the end of their life. We have to make the journal look old, and so i practiced on plain paper.

I burned the edges, and then used a sponge to put tea on it. The hole effects you see is another paper that i burned holes in in the center behind the paper. I held it up the my window/sun so it looks cool now!!!

I took the SSAT this morning. (Not in anyway related to the SAT) I hate tests.

BTW the writing is real.

I really hope things are going to get better in the next few weeks. I've been in a creative slump and an emotional and mental depression. I've had no motivation to do anything I love, other than tennis, and I feel like I'm just living for others, not for myself. But, hopefully, once this AP test is done and tennis starts to do me some good, I'll be back.

A few things that are happening next month that should aid in my progression- State Latin Day, Bronx Zoo field trip, Academic Awards Banquet, and Junior Prom with my boyfriend.

...Even though I can't speak it.

I have... 8(?) songs to learn BY MYSELF by December 20-something. Yea, bymyself. Stupid math.

In case you don't know, I have to leave my house at 7:10 everyother morning to go to highschool math until 9:10, then go back to the middle school. BECAUSE OF THAT I miss band, which is on those days, from 8:05 to 8:38.

This was the hardest thing to do in my life.
