Hey guys, just finished the first draft of my first Mobile Frame Zero Company(total 8 Frames) and figured this would be a good time to share all the weapon and equipment I designed for my Frames!

Working on a design for an Mobile Frame Zero Game Board, and messing around with larger terrain elements, so I built a mini Mountain!

Basically just a rough brick build, final color would be Light Bley, just leaving it slightly off color for easier selection in LDD. Chub for scale purposes.

Right now I'm kinda crossed on whether or not to make the larger elements like this 100% modular or making so that the bottom plates remain connected with the terrain as 1 big piece.

I've been revamping some of my old(ish) frame designs for BrickCon and here we have a few of them;

On the Left the Coyote Light Frame

In the Middle the Wolf Medium Frame

On the Right the Brute Heavy Frame

The pic is a bit rough, the Whites and Blacks are a little hard to make out but it shouldn't be too bad.

Stock Wolf vs Custom - Input needed

After putting a Rainbow Warrior Version of my Vanquich VT together and putting it alongside with my original Wolf Mobile Frame the Wolf looked a little inadequate.

So I worked on this, On the Right is the original, or Stock Version, on the Left is the New or 'Custom' version.

Some of the more major upgrades;
-Expanded the back a bit, kinda giving it a "backpack" of sorts, included are some clips or extra equipment possibly.
-Bulked out the area between the hips and torso with a clip and 1x2 tile, similar to what I did with the Brute Variant.
-Added a bit of bulk to the forearms, these I'm the least sure on, but they do still provide the same connection possibilities as the stock version so maybe.
-Messed with the lower legs/knees, the new kneepads extend further up the thigh and angle outwards a bit, the Lower legs/feet are a bit bulker and the foot print is actually a bit wider and longer, hopefully for better stability.

What do you guys think? Aside from the arms I'm fairly pleased, it's not any taller, so the Brute Variant is still a solid 2-3 plates taller and bulkier looking and it should help to even things out with the Vanquish VT.

If you guys have any thoughts or ideas feel free to let me know!

Board Test 1

So I assembled all my Tiles and build a test board for lolz. Assembly with the 4x4 plates was super easy, a bit more work to take it apart using a 2x4 brick but all in all much easier than using the traditional Hex method.

Few things for scale, Brute Frame(keep in mine this is my largest/bulkiest frame), a 7Plate Fig, a Peach Tree and one of my Modular Wall Segments.

Okay so, heres the thing, I'm not sure what I should do here, cause this board, it's gonna be big, almost 4 feet by 4 feet, and seeing as I terribly like big immersion type terrain, but that means it's gonna get pretty expensive, For example, that one little mountain range is 235 2x4 bricks, at .15cents a brick it's 35$ about, and this being more of a bad lands tye terrain board, that's going to be far from the only rocky outcropping, and while I had some other stuff planned, you can already see the walls of a supply depot kind of thing I was planning, I wanted there to be a fair amount of tall-ish rocky outcroppings, so either I gotta bite the bullet and spend 150-200$ on Tan Bricks, find a better way of doing said rocky outcroppings, or come up with a better/different idea/theme for the board.

Thoughts? I've love to hear some feed back, even if you don't know what Mobile Frame Zero is!

EDIT: just to be clear, it's not about the amount of money, as much as just spending it efficiently, I don't mind the idea of dropping 150$ on just the bricks, because not only would it help to flesh out this board, but later on as I start to incorporate things like slopes, extra coloring and plates for more variation and such it'd free up more of the bricks to be used in more terrain, it's like a large upfront investment that pays off long term. but I don't want to just jump on that because it's the first thing I thought of either.
