For a change, I left everything in the rucksack that I used last week, and just chucked 2 full cans of purple and orange in the bag and hoped that I would have enough to make a colour scheme.

Two day session painting another persons user name from the internet.
There's no way I would of painted 14 letters unless I really liked this bloke. When he first joined the website he chose the user name Hermann Göring (also 14 letters), but someone took offence and he had to change it.

First day I was on my own. As well as painting I fished out from the high tide mark all the driftwood and left it to dry out a bit for a day.
On the second day I was painting with the JFK crew and the driftwood bonfire helped to warm cans of paint. Bonfire, graffiti, music, couple of beers and a few reefers = Good day :)

Managed to get Dyelk to agree to go out painting after a break of 5 months. Blackmailed him with the "It's my birthday" line.

When we got there, there was a crutch on the floor. Some kid came along and watched us for a bit, then he asked who the crutch belonged to. I pointed at Dan "It was his, but look! Behold! He has been cured by the power of graffiti!"

Bitterly cold day. My hands were cold even wearing gloves. Some writer I'd never seen before, came walking along. I looked at him and nodded my head to acknowledge him, he nodded back. I should of, in hindsight, taken my hands out of my the front of my tracksuit bottoms, but cradling my nuts seemed to be the only way to get the feeling back in my fingers. I convinced myself that he'd understand I was warming my hands, not having an alfresco J Arthur...

Painting on my own at a new spot that a bloke at work put me onto. Illegal, but chilled. My secret location when it's raining without having to worry if there's enough space at Mile End, or having to put up with smelling piss all day at Waterloo.

I've hardly got any paint at the moment, so it was a mulsh fill. Took my ladders and this is about 12 feet tall because I wasn't sure if the 8 letters would fit on the width of the wall.

It was so nice to go back to the old days, where every noise made me stop painting and check for people.

Close up of what I spent the most amount of time on this weekend. It's a pity that Lakeside isn't within cycling distance of hero's house. This weekend I had jaf helping me out.

I didn't want her just floating in mid air, so he keylined my piece and painted the purple bubble (we would of done more to it, but daylight was running out) .

Last weeks E is this weeks 3....

Weird day. I got there early (7:30) because I knew I'd have to do some expanding foam work on the Lakeside joints, as me and Crane were going to paint next each other and the character wouldn't take up a whole panel. Sketched something half reasonable the night before and decided to paint a simple piece as well.
But the morning was damp, no rain, but the emulsion took for ever to dry. and the emulsion reacted with what was on the wall and turned from dark Blue to black. It seemed to waste so much of the morning.

Then as the day wore on, I was convinced that I couldn't get everything finished.

Then came the phone call from her indoors....
"It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to finish this today" I told her, "I might need to come back tomorrow to finish off"

Got a load of earache, promised a curry and shopping trip and cracked on, and managed to finish everything around 5:20.

Now I'm still tied into a shopping trip (just got back from having a ruby) :(

Me, crane and some short stocky bloke called jaf lobbing paint at a wall in North London.
I was fairly pleased with this. when I say fairly pleased, I mean I like the e and d, but everything sucked donkey balls when I stood back and saw the whole wall and saw what crane painted. He burned in a size.

Had a really good day down at Tottenham with Daps. I would of done lots more if I had of had a towel, to dry the rain off the wall in the morning.

Around midday Hero turned up and he ended up doing most the cat. Also around midday, the rest of Daps Polish mates turned up with a couple of cans of blue were going to use for the background, only it wasn't blue, it was light turquoise, but it seemed to work.

Further on down the wall Masica was painting a chrome with mr EBlitz doing a piece himself!

First time painting alongside Corze and Merc and first time painting this spot.

When I woke up this morning my girlfriend said, you were in a right state when you came home last night.

Apparently I had lots of trouble getting through the front door, then I couldn't close it and ended up collapsing in a heap, shouting out "Help me! HELP ME!"

Not been that wasted in a long time.

I was working today, but finished at three. Nipped down to Tottenham to see who was there and discovered that if I went home and got some paint a bit lively, I'd get a chance to christen the new wall.

No time for mulsh, just a 2 hour chome.

I emptied the green shelf and thought I'd have loads to play with. Ended up being a complete bell end by sketching up with one can of the fill colour and with one the other lighter green not playing ball unless I stuck a fat cap on it.

Just managed to fill the letters before everything ran out (no cut backs apart from sorting out massive fuck ups)

The dark green 3D fill cans were only 1/2 and 3/4 full and I went and did some real deep 3D and they ran out and was forced to paint the bottom 3D with middle stone grey. Lot's of mucking around on the colour settings on the computer to make it all look right.

Have you ever been on a stag paint? No, nor me. Until today. A bit disappointed that we weren't allowed to tie him to one of the lampposts.

Today I forgot my camera, so thanks to Crane for emailing me photos. Also, thanks to Jon for all his work in the joiner panels .

No outline today, so just freestyled.

Didn't have the right range of blues in the rack at home, to make a decent fade :(

Out with Gnasher and Lucy. I have been promising to paint her a Gruffalo for ages, but today I didn't have to bother as Mr photorealism himself was on Gruffalo duty.

Started at about 11 and finished at 2:30 due to rain stopping play. Fuck this summer and the non stop shitty weather!

Lucy says to all painters at Tottenham: "Please don't paint over the Gruffalo and please don't paint over my name and don't paint over the mouse. Because it's really good"
