A great dolly mail day today! I've been back & forth about JerryBerry ever since she came out but after I saw one in real life I decided I had to have one! And, of course, there weren't any to be found! Then I came across this little darling looking for a new home & here she is! Crazy in love with her little face! Welcome home, little one! Love!

May 14, 2013: "We are six weeks old today & we are SO big! We can eat big cat food & some of us can use the litter box but some of us, not so much. We can climb & fight & fuzz up & dance sideways! We destroy things! We have taken over The Lady's bedroom & love to climb up on her bed. She lets us sleep there but makes us get down if we are naughty. She sighs a lot for some reason. We have lots of toys! The Lady bought us a present--a big gate that traps us in her room. How is that a present?! We love to have visitors come play with us. Some of us have new homes already, whatever that means! We are too cute, that's what everyone says! Meow, meow, meow!"

The kittens! Quick, squirmy, blurry iPhone photo while mama was having a snack! Five days old, clockwise: tortiseshell, b/w tuxedo, b/w tuxedo, orange classic tabby, orange mackerel tabby, so sweet! It's been a very long time since I've seen kittens from birth on, what an exciting little adventure for us!

Note: This was not an "intentional" litter in the sense that I allowed my female cat to breed just for the fun of it. Anyone who knows me knows that I have struggled with a feral cat population since I moved here almost four years ago. I have been trying to catch this mama cat who has been littering my life with her adorable babies for all of that time. These little darlings represent the end of the kitten factory as I finally caught her! However, she was very close to giving birth & I could not bring myself to spay her at this time. Rest assured, those are her future plans. All but three of her twenty-some kittens have been removed from the reproducing feral cat population & these will be as well. I am just sharing my joy at finally having caught this elusive mama cat & celebrating the safe, healthy arrival of these kitties! ; )

Brat & Selby Flynne are are two of my three "mostly stock" girls--they are still totally recognizable as a Merry Skier & a PiccaE but have had eyechip changes & are sand matted. I also have a MML who has had a slight haircut for health reasons!
