&lt;p&gt;Fantastic peek behind the scenes at early 20th century communications. Note the proudly displayed &lt;i&gt;Wireless World&lt;/i&gt;. This young chap could never have known what &amp;quot;wireless&amp;quot; would become within 100 years of this photo...&lt;br /&gt;

I uploaded this at the request of &lt;b&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.flickr.com/photos/63844591@N04/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;desmondg47&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt;. He was looking for any photos we might have of the S.S. Coningbeg as his grandfather was lost on that ship. I was delighted to be able to oblige, but it turned out this Marconi Room was not on the S.S. Coningbeg at all, but perhaps in one of the Waterford Steamship offices...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Anyhow, may I just remind you all that &lt;b&gt;I'm more than happy to take requests&lt;/b&gt;! This is your photostream, so please don't be shy about letting me know what you'd like to see here...&lt;br /&gt;
