&lt;p&gt;Not sure which nattily dressed gentleman is Mr Lane, but this group were embarking passengers on the SS Copeland at Adelphi Quay in Waterford.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This fine trio are Mr J. Malone and his son, accompanied by their terrier who was in full voice by the looks of things, all pictured at Ashtown Train Station, Dublin. The photographer James O'Dea had obviously known Mr Malone for some time, as we have O'Dea photos of Mr Malone from 1938.&lt;br /&gt;
