Story
After such a long time posting abstract and macro shots, this time I have put a landscape. The light bursts in the clouds were really beautiful but I could not capture them with the camera the way I liked (I have no idea but maybe the dynamic range of the camera is limited specially in the PS that I have). Still this is pleasing to me. I hope you enjoy it as well.

This is a two exposure shot in Maastricht on the border of Germany and Netherland.

Nothing special just I should confess that this is composed of two different pictures one for the moon and one for the others. I just felt that it might be more interesting in B/W, I hope you also like it as well.
I should express my gratitude for all the jurors that constantly give me feedback and it is really constructive.

Seems that my photostream is more and more inclined towards macro, but really flowers in spring are tempting me. Trying to put some other things too :).

Took this in Citadel park, Gent, Belgium just before sunset. If there was more light maybe I could capture something more pleasant but still it is sufficient for my eye ;)

Being busy for a while, sure will be more active during this week.

0 EV: 1s @ F6.3.
3 pictures blended together in CS4, exported to ACR5 with Tiff format, went to CS4 again for some minor refinement, dust and spot removal.

Taken in twilight at Citadel park, Gent, Belgium.
The moon was going behind the clouds and coming out. During the 4s of exposure it went behind and just came out at the end of 4s, that's why it is quite sharp (if you look at it large) and the lights around are from when it was behind.

4s @ F4.0, ISO80.
Processed using Adobe camera Raw 5.0 and photoshop CS4.
No HDR.

I was heading bourgoyen for some twilight shots but never reached there :) because I was caught by this beautiful scene ahead of bourgoyen at watersport.
I somehow like the clouds and also the textures of clouds on the top left.
A cropped version is also provided in the comments.

In my recent visit to Rome for the first time I got this shot at Fontana di Trevi. At night I was able to shoot with longer shutter period of 4s with my PS camera. I hope you like it and for those who have not visited this beautiful historical city an inspiration to go.

Ths trip has had a lot of photo for me to process and will be busy probably during the coming weeks posting some more photos of this ancient city.

In fact, this is one of my favorite shots. I was coming back from Bourgoyen and it was more or less dark, felt that it might not be a bad idea to test some long exposure shots as there was some nice light on the right and this part of the park was completely dark. You could not find your way in such a dark scene, even I couldn't see the view in the LCD.

And the title is really the message which is conveyed to me when I look long enough to this image.

Cropped from 3 different panorama shots which is blended together and adjusted afterwards in Photoshop CS4.
15s @ F2.8, ISO100.

The reason for such wide aperture is the maximum limit of the camera shutter speed.

Last weekend I went to Citadel park for a walk and taking some pictures. The weather was very good. I saw this composition on top of a dune in the park somewhere. The problem was that 2 were hiding there and kissing but I could not wait for them as it was going towards sunset. So I entered :) and after probably one minute or so they left. Maybe there were a little angry ;) I am sorry for them, but I guess they can find somewhere else with more privacy...ha ha.

I am getting used to go for sth and come back with sth else. There were two really beatiful sunset skies two consecutive days before the weekend so I thought it may be the same, but as always it was not the case.

OK, I went for a macro shot that I will post it later and also got stuck with the blue sky during twilight and some beautiful lights in citadel park. I hope you like this image.

Also below I have provided a crop which had worth cropping in my opinion. I'll be happy to know your opinions about both of them.

Story
Another shot from Graslei, I went there this weekend. The weather was very good and there were beautiful clouds in the sky. So I was waiting for the twilight to see some great colors in the sky, but unfortunately there were no clouds on this scene that I wanted to capture. Again, the nature did not contribute :(, although the sky color is gorgeous anyway ;)

As this was the first day without any fog after such a long time, alot of photographers were excited and out taking pictures. You can see some of them here on the left :) there were much more.

I hope you enjoy this image as I do.

Shooting details
Took two shot at 0 and -2EV. this is not really an HDR, the -2EV is just for the sake of sky and some deeper bluish colors, that's it.

a subtle HDR processing and also Tone mapping is done in GIMP.

Bourgoyden is a preserved national park for birds in Gent, Belgium. I went there in the evening and the atmosphere is again foggy. :(

There are also some evidence of snow on the ground which is from two days before.

Shooting Details
The picture is straight out of the camera. I did not touch the colors as the soft look resembles the fog very good, in my opinion.

Also I have put another picture from the same scene below.

This seems to be a very ordinary shot, but I like the colors somehow, although the composition may not be perfect ;)

Shot Details
This is just a simple photo with 6s exposure hence no HDR, so the blinking lights are all on ;)
In the post-processing, the photo is cropped and tone mapped with GIMP special plugin.

Sunday morning at 8 o'clock I was in Watersport. There was an extreme fog all over, that's why you can not see every where easily :)

Shot Detail
Took 3 Exposures at -1, 0 and 1 EV and blended to each other slightly in GIMP.
Also some further image adjustment like curve and color saturation is done.

My intention in HDR images is just compensating for the small image sensor that I have now in my camera (Canon SX120) and I really try not to over do it. Otherwise it may seem fake and I'm not satisfied with the job at all.

I had gone to grasley to get some pictures during the sunset but there was an extreme fog all over and no sun. So, I took this ;)

Shooting Details
Just one shot at f/8 (Cropped after wards) and doing some Gaussian Blur to reduce the camera noise.
