Techno Parade Paris 2012

Paris Technoparade is a one of the largest street parades in Europe with around 500,000 participants. The vehicles (called lovemobiles) are equipped with strong loudspeakers and amplifiers playing techno music are usually not elaborately decorated. Nearly all of the vehicles are converted trucks. In order to power the amplifiers, the trucks are frequently equipped with an additional electrical generator. Some of the vehicles allow people to ride along, for a fee. For those on the sidelines, or travelling alongside on foot or bicycles, attendance is free.

Some of the vehicles allow people to ride along, for a fee. I am not in to techno music but i enjoyed the day taking pictures of the participants.

The good thing about being a teenager is that, even when its time to clean the streets, you are still partying. harder for an older photographer to keep up, but aren't these moments worth the extra effort?

A participant at the techno parade in Paris dancing on top of a big plastic bin. I got an excellent frame looking up, but moments after i took this shot, he fell flat on his bum. he got up as if nothing happened and carried on dancing.

A participant full of emotions dances to the very loud music at the Techno Parade on 15th September 2012 at Place de la Nation, in Paris. I am not into Techno music, but I enjoyed the day capturing the emotions of the participants.
