For the longest time my Granddaughter thought it was funny to not look into the lens. Finally caught a brief moment when she looked my way :)

The definition of a tendril says a portion of a plant reaching out for support. Aren't we all reaching out for a little support. I guess tendrils we are. :)

Rented a cabin for 3 days over New Years. Had big plans. 1st day- Fireplace not working, 8 person hot tub not working, heavy snow, and temps -15 F. 2nd day New Years Eve- Hot Tub COLD, power outage for 6 hours just as we put two pans of lasagna in the oven.
Realized that my children have learned to make the best of any situation. During it all we laughed, played games nonstop, danced by candlelight to bring in the New Year, ate salad with cheese and salami instead of lasagna, and sledded in lots of layers. Cheers to making the most out of the unexpected.
