My first self-portrait in a long while and it felt really good.

So I've come to the realization that I don't have a certain "style" behind my photography. I just keep on switching from conceptual to fashion to something undefinable inbetween. And sometimes I like it that way because it shows that I'm still developing, progressing and learning. But then again I would like to find my place in the world of photography.

Blogpost: Changing and healing

For those who feel like being alone, trapped in a world of sadness.
Remember, there are people who care.
For those who feel like losing their purpose.
You have a purpose, even if it's bringing a smile to another person's face.

I realise that there are so many people suffering day by day. If you are lucky to to be in a situation without any sorrow or sadness, please try and share positive thoughts and words with other people. It can only be smiling at a stranger or helping somebody carry their bags.
Life can be so hard at times. Let's try and help eachother through rough times.

Day after day she slowly removed her old skin marked by the scars of her past and put on a skin adorned with the bittersweet feeling of pretended happiness.
How pitiful naive of her to believe that a skin, which is not more than a hollow mask could ever hide the bruises of her soul.

It holds so many memories and I put all of my heart into this.
