Last year I bought a Lumix underwater camera to photograph the grandkids. They always felt they could escape my camera underwater.... imagine that!! It's important to stay one step ahead of them...I'm not sure who had more fun...the kids or me...Looking forward to this summer in the pool with them..No escaping my camera!!!

Yes, it really was a good morning…Taken a few months ago at Coral Cove. I have no idea who the fisherman was but I was glad he showed up. I think he was trying to stay out of my way...

Hope everyone has a great weekend. This was taken a few weeks ago up at St. Augustine. This egret was constantly displaying her feathers. I must have spent two hours at that nest...Surprisingly I was the only one interested in this family. (Texture and frame from French Kiss)

Two adult burrowing owls were outside the hole on "watch". They were very protective of the entire area, these two seemed to feel perfectly safe.

Just another sunset in Cades Cove. A beautful place for sure but very fustrating trying to get around that loop road. So many people looking for a bear. Morton's Overlook is probably the better bet for sunset.

Every evening photographers gather at Mortons Overlook, just outside Gatlinburg, for sunset. The cloud cover can roll in or roll out just before the sun finally sets…You just never know what to expect.

The end of March and the first of April is a spectactular time to visit Charleston's Magnolia Gardens. The azeleas, dogwood and wisteria were in full bloom. On our first morning I awoke to a 90% chance of thunderstorms so we rushed over to the gardens. The heavy overcast skies made for a perfect morning of photographing….the green and pinks of the garden just popped.

….the walls refused to fall.

Prince Edward Parish Church was built between 1745 and 1755. The church was burned by British Troops in 1779 and rebuilt only to be burned again in 1865 as part of Sherman's March to the Sea. The walls refused to fall, it was never again repaired. Graves from the 1700's are scrattered around the grounds. The church is located off an old country road between Charleston and Beaufort.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled into the Dania Beach parking lot..Very low clouds and a gray sky..Fortunately the sun made a very quick appearance. I think I had the Mor-Slo on for this.

An Imaginative eye can see many differernt shapes in Antelope Canyon..This is called ..The Heart of the Canyon. The heart is resting on its side.

I think this white egret had just about had it with these triplets. They squawked and squawked but she stood her ground for a long time. Taken a few years ago at the Saint Augustine Rookery..Time to head back up that way....

Taken at Ding Darling just after they opened. Unfortunately not many birds on this visit. They had a red tide around the island and the birds had left for better hunting grounds.

Sanibel Island is located on the Gult side of Florida. The island is known for its sunsets, shells and birds. It is a "must " if in South Florida.
