The conservatory at the Huntington offers the visitor the opportunity to see tropical rainforest fauna as well as plants that inhabit the bogs. This is one of the pitcher plants. They eat insects.

This is actually not the season for the cactus to flower, but there were a few species that were showing some color. Seen at the Huntington Gardens in San Marino, California.
