Looks a little yellow here, but it's actually a pure white sheet with some sweet pink flowers. Gives you a better look at the quilting. :)

As much as I liked looking at these blocks, it was time to put them together into a quilt. And yes, I need to get a bigger piece of batting for my recently enlarged design wall. :P

Just did some simple quilting here . . . quilted the inside of the star and shadowed the outside of the innermost star.

I finally finished the Glow Happy quilt top! Now . . . how to quilt it?? And realize that I only do straight line quilting because I suck at all other types. LOL!

Vintage Sheet Freedom Bee Quilt Top

Going into it, I wasn't envisioning it so LILAC, but honestly it just really worked well with the sheets used to piece the top. I'm thinking about beefing it up a bit with a skinny and then a fat border around the whole thing to make it big enough to be used as a picnic quilt.

What colors would you pull out next?

And yes, not all the blocks were the correct size so there was some adding of border here and there. Wish it wasn't so, but I think the quilting will help to cover that up a bit.
