I know some of you may not like spiders but I think spider webs look simply amazing after rain or during sunrise or sunset. That's actually quite amazing how those small creatures make those webs.

It had just stopped raining, the water was still and the sun peeked down somewhere between the clouds. It was a perfect moment. There's no photoshop with that ray of light, it's just as it was.

These were actually the first flowers I saw this spring, it was a couple of weeks backwards. I found a small swarm of these and I took so many photos of them I had a really hard time choosing between them. Although, this is the one like the best.

One of the best things in spring are all the of course all the beautiful flowers. This one in the photo hasn't yet reached it's full blossom but I'll promise to take a photo when it does. Flowers and bokeh, what else could we ask for? I hope you all enjoy the summer and take a lot of photos!

The winter has passed and now, when the temperatures are more inhuman for my fingers, it's time to start shooting again. I can't wait for all the trees and flowers to fill the landscape with all kinds of beautiful colors. I spotted this sight while on my regular walk back home and when you see this, it means the trees and all have woken up again and it's spring. Happy Easter everyone!

Miami @ night

I took this photo during my trip in Miami, Florida just over a week ago. I had no tripod with me so taking this was a bit of a challenge. I just put my camera on the ground (luckily it was concrete) and used the strap to level the camera. Considering the equipment I had I think this turned out very well and I'll be soon having this as a 70x100 cm canvas print on my wall next to my bed.

I wanted to highlight this scarf because it was so refreshing. Everybody wear dark or boring clothes in winter. When i saw that man wearing a scarf with these colors it gave a smile on my face. Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas is here. I think everyone who lives here knows where this photo is taken. For you who don't, I can tell it is from one of the main shopping streets in Helsinki where this decorated window is set up for every Christmas...and of course it gets lots of attention from the younger people.

First of December and days are going by like wind, time to update my photostream again. Subway tunnels have always offered me interesting photographic subjects. Long escalators and hallways with lots of people guarantee the perfect conditions for street photography.
