I took this one a while back and never really got around to editing the series & now with my new iMac it certainly makes life easy when processing photos.

I was on holidays from work and ventured out to Wynnum after it had rained the night before looking for something to shoot. I have shot the famous 'posts' a tonne of times so this scene was a nice change.

My inspiration for this comes from the mastermind behind 'Vision & Imagination'. For me, there is a real attraction to a moody long exposed shot & the wet concrete really enhances the foreground.

Garry's shot ''Quandamooka' would have to be one of my all time favourite "moody style shots'. The best part is the average person would perceive this to be 'Boring' but I think it can really create a dramatic atmosphere with the right conditions !

**Please Note**- In no way was I trying to copy or re-create Garry's shot. This is my own take on this location with my own personal style.

Club Beachmere

Headed out to Beachmere with some fellow flickr friends on the weekend & after waiting for the showers to pass we were able to fire off some shots before the next set rolled in. We were all knee deep in the water & aside from the cool conditions fun was had by all. I haven't been overly active on flickr of late due to holidays, weddings & being sick so I do appoligise & will try to get around to everyones stream. Cheers.

Nudgee Beach is one of my favorite places to visit as theres always something to shoot. Sam, Dave, Kim & I made a stop in there on the way home from a early morning meetup at Deception Bay. The cloud cover provided some nice diffused light so the 9 stop filters got a good workout on the beach, enough to flatten out the small waves.

The famous Nudgee beach has been captured by many people but I think each visit brings a new opprtunity to re-create nature as it is meant to be.
