A couple of adventurous (or foolhardy) guys who decided to shoot the waves on their surf skis in the Tallebudgera Estuary.
Viewed large shows the scale of the waves better.

Early morning just after the car had got flipped over by the waves. A bit blurry as it was quite dark when I took this. at 6.am. Thursday, 21 May 2009
The car was washed into the surf from the carpark of the lifesaving club seen on the right.

Queensland had plenty of rain during April and heavy seas pounded our beaches and exposed rocks that had been covered by sand for a long time.
