Distorted Self

Philosophy today:

What’s the difference between a chicken and a human? Aside from, of course, the physical appearance.

Both exist, right? But is being a human the same as being an animal?

The animal has consciousness…But the human has self-consciousness.

I don’t know how to make this statement sound as cool as my professor did. Buuuuut I hope you get the idea…ish?
Hmmm…Today I didn’t really have time to take any pictures. Like five minutes ago I shot this. Yay.

My iPod.

The first crack came over a year ago. Camping trip at Lassen. Left it in my backpack, and when I checked on it it had a crack. Second crack was from a volunteer project. Then a few others were from PE, when it fell out of my locker. It has its scars, but I love it. I’ve used it a lot. And I don’t plan on buying a new one until the next iPod touch has something amazing.
