My RAW interview is live! I didn't tell anyone because I wanted it to be a surprise. I emailed Tristan a couple weeks ago and told him that "I don't have a FF camera, I don't use L lenses, but what I do have is passion". From that statement, he wanted to have me on the RAW photo blog. This for me is a HUGE affirmation to be able to grow my career and tell people why I do what I do. Please take the time to read it, I think that what I have to say is true for anyone. Regardless of how long you've been in this business.

This shot is from a wedding I was able to shoot a couple months back. I never got around to uploading this photo but I absolutely love it. Scott was calm all day, considering he was about to be married, and he loved getting his photo taken. The entire groomsmen party was hilarious (I'll upload more later).

I had an absolute blast second shooting this wedding for my friend Meredith Daniels (www.meredithdanielsblog.com), we made a great team.

Can't wait to show you guys more!

This is usually the first type of picture I take whenever I try out a new camera or lens. It's sad I know but seriously my bathroom, with it's one window, creates some of the best lighting in the world.

I unwillingly had to give the 5D back yesterday. My friend was glad to have it back but I died a little bit inside. I'll hopefully be getting a Mark II soon, and I just had someone offer to buy my 60D.

Gotta get that stuff soon guys! The Canon factory is shut down as of now and no news on when it will open up again, meaning prices are slowly starting to climb.

I've had the extreme pleasure of borrowing my friends 5D this week. Even though it's a Mark 1 it's still so incredible at rendering those out of focus elements.

I didn't think that it'd be hard to shoot full frame but I accepted the challenge and was presently surprised when I turned that dial to manual.

I feel as a photographer, it's hard to be able to find things that challenge us, force us to be better at our craft. For me, the 5D has done that.

Sadly I have to give it back tomorrow, it's going to be hard.
