This is a friend of mines pet Jacksons Chameleon. The couple who owns him are reptile boarders and rescuers. They asked me to take some photos of their gorgeous lizards and I eagerly agreed. They have such a variety, and being a lizard keeper myself I really wanted to see species that I had never seen in person before. My girlfriend and I are hoping to adopt a little male jacksons from them once their female's clutch arrives.

This is my baby leatherback bearded dragon, Token. He (or she) is approximately two months old right now so that is why his or her's gender is unknown.
Leatherback bearded dragon's are little more rare then the common regular bearded dragon. Unlike the regular BD's spiked and rough back, the leatherbacks have a very soft and smooth back. They tend to be much more expensive then regular's but I found a local breeder who was selling for very cheap. Couldn't be happier with my purchase too. The breeder was very sincere and generous (gave me high-end vitamin and calcium powder for crickets).

Chelsey and I went to Playland & the PNE the day after my birthday (we went the day of my birthday last year). This year I was extremely hung over and couldn't go on any rides, except the ferris wheel (but even that made me feel nauseous). I still had a good though, and I hope she did too =]

It was our 1 year anniversary, so we went for a nice walk along the Terra Nova dyke and took photos and had a little bench picnic. A nice simple evening.

In case you're wondering, I used my sunglasses as a filter and this was the outcome!

Owl Feather

I was golfing after work and a tree near me had 3 owls perched on it! Two appeared to be screech owls and the other was a spotted owl, though I'm not entirely certain. I stayed and watched them for a while because I'm in love with owls and eventually they flew off one by one. However when the last owl (which I think was a screech but I could be mistaken) flew off he/she dropped this feather! I was so amazed and I felt honoured in a way =P
Can anyone tell me which owl this belongs to just incase I am wrong? I figure it is a screech owls feather. I live in Vancouver British Colombia if that helps you!
