But one of the well known Neville Brothers from New Orleans. They were really glad to be in Baton Rouge. They drove over from Austin and Ivan said that because of Katrina of course they could not go home to New Orleans, so Baton Rouge was the closest thing to home.

It was a great night. Really good energy in the club, "Sogo". People were happy to get out and dance/ party & let go after all the stress in the area from Katrina. There is no other place quite like Southern Louisiana when it comes to these music/culture get togethers. I cherish them more and more since part of this culture in New Orleans may not be the same again. We'll see. Maybe it can be even better! Maybe the music scene will get a boost. I'm all for that!!
