This is an LM Monica, aka the VIP-only gift head. I got her in the mail a few days ago and initially I wasn't planning on keeping her. I futzed around with some ideas and she's slowly growing on me...though I'd need to get her a faceup to determine if she's staying or not.

So for reasons that I won't go into, my previous (very ambitious) doll plans got a swift trip out the window because of above reasons. :'D Which basically means I said "F*ck it" and started over.

Here is Phoenix, reshelled as a redhead into an SD10 Megu on an SDGrG body. I call her 'Pea' for short, because I'm still high on Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and it sounds cute.

She's a work in progress for now. Her eyes are on order, she needs a new faceup (badly) and she's also suffering from Floptitis. (Aka floppy body syndrome.)

For the curious, she and Sayuri are not related in any way except for the fact that they represent two important icons in Chinese culture :'D Sayuri is the Dragon, and Phoenix is the fenghuang. Or phoenix. (Behold, my creativity at naming dolls!)

(ALSO THIS DAMN DRESS. The previous doll body I had gotten for Phoenix v1.0 was so frigging busty it couldn't fit. So, of course, I did the most sensible thing - I sold the body. :D BECAUSE DRESS > BODIES.)

So this has been going around, and rather than do what everyone else has doing...I went a different route. This is pretty personal, right? So why not have a bunch of handwritten confessions? Full view if you can, my handwriting is actually really terrible, especially on un-ruled paper.

Here's the tl;dr version for people who have difficulty reading my chicken-scratch:
1. I don't take shit from idiots.
2. I'm picky. I like what I like. I may not like any of your dolls, but if I do like them, you'll know.
3. I don't own ugly dolls. (At least, not ugly in my own eyes.)
4. I love attention, but I ain't going to whine for it. Especially when I don't always reciprocate.
5. I have doll-friends, and friend-friends. You don't automatically get to hear my life story just 'cause we both like dolls.
6. I like limited or rare dresses. They also happen to be pretty expensive. No crime in wanting beautiful things.
7. I operate on a 'revolving door' policy. If I get bored of what I have, I hit 'restart'. Deal with it.
8. I don't do elaborate backstories and all that pizazz any more. I'll leave that for my 2D creations.
9. I like drawing more than I like photography. I wish I could change my dolls' appearances as easily as I can for a character in a drawing.
10. This is a goddamned hobby. Stop making it out to be a big contest or acting as if it'll actually do anything for your future. It's almost as if people forgot how to enjoy it and started arming themselves for some sort of petty war.

So a little late to the party, but finally collated my wishlist for 2013. I was actually unsure what I wanted for 2013, but I thought eh, y'know, just put together a collage of stuff I'd like to eventually own. (Though I suspect a lot of the things will be a pipe dream.)

As is apparent, my wishlist comprises of nothing but Cadenza clothing. Call me insane, but at this juncture, my dolls kind of feel like mannequins for pretty outfits. XD; Sadly, that may well be the only reason I still HAVE dolls...

I DID have other outfits on my wishlist, but I got them already, so yay!

Since it's a new beginning, I decided to give one of the oldest pieces of artwork I could find a makeover. This character was named Mary, and she is officially one of the first few original human ones I ever created and developed as a kid.
