The title does not relate to the picture's subject or location, as the shot is actually taken in Iceland.

It's just that I get such a strong urge for singing something EPIC when I see landscapes like this.

Glacial ice that finaly reached the salty ocean. It might be thousands of years old. Meeting its ultimate destiny. No big deal though.

I almost deleted this picture. It is not the one I thought was best, and now it's my favorite from the stranded ice shots.

Jökulsárlón (Glacial Lagoon) in the Vatnajökull National Park. It is very, very, very deep, some 200 m down. So these are literaly "the tips of the icebergs". Also, at 200 m deep ... you wouldn't fish up your watch there - or your camera - if you drop it in the water.

Icebergs in the Glacial Lagoon of Jökulsárlón, slowly cruising toward the ocean that awaits them just 1 km away.

Due to climate changes and warmer temperatures this area has experienced quite some transformation after the 1920s. A glacial lagoon of some impressive 260 m depth was formed, and the largest part of it took shape after 1950.

The lagoon has been a setting for four Hollywood movies namely, 'A View to a Kill', 'Die Another Day', 'Tomb Raider' and 'Batman Begins', in addition to the reality-TV series 'Amazing Race'.

This is a hole in an iceberg where some grains of sand were collected. The iceberg itself was bigger than me, and it was stranded ashore.

Magnificent unreal colors!
