Today is my Grandmother's 83rd birthday. I stopped by to visit her today. While we sat at her dining room table I snapped a few shots of her plastic flowers. She asked me if I wanted them for my new place. I said 'no thanks'.

heated discussion.

this is a picture i took of my mother and grandmother. every year on new year's day the family gets together at my grandmother's house. we all sit around the dining room table eating macedonian pastries and drinking instant coffee and gingerale. everyone's tired [and hungover] from the night before but we're all happy to be there. And it makes my Baba happy too.
