working on diagrams for Ioana's upcoming book, "Origami for All: Elegant Designs from Simple Folds". One of the included models is her lovely Vespertilio model, aka "the pleated bat".

Having loads of fun learning how to make nice with gradients in Illustrator on this one :)

My little village of Mutzig, France, after a fresh coating of snow. The mountains in the distance are shrouded because of an ongoing snowstorm!

We're on the edge of the mountains, so the line between green things and snow is right about where my house is...

made from a 3m x 1.5m stretch of Kraft paper. An exploration of simple folds and variations, an idea from a few years back, re-created. Finished size about 1.3m x 70cm.

This piece has traveled around a bit; here it is on display in Mexico City, at the first origami convention there last November.

The two of us standing in front of our booth at the art fair, with various pieces on display. It was a lot of fun and definitely a learning experience for the both of us!
