Hope I am not boring everyone with egret pics but these guys are just awesome in breeding plumage.This shot was taken in a light rain with really low light.There is some noise but I didn't want to give up detail in the shot so sorry for the noise.No color adjustment so this guy is the real deal.

Shot as a storm approached..tough light.Breeding plumage of all the Cattle Egrets was amazing.This image has had no color adjustment.

This youngster's sibling has already left the nest so I hoping the parents will return to feed him.As of this picture he appeared healthy and alert.

This pair of Stilts and their four chicks made it through some heavy rains and rising water.Not so fortunate for another nesting pair around the corner whose nest was flooded out.
If you look carefully you will notice that their are extra sets of legs...two other chicks are under Mom's left wing staying warm.As the rising sun reached them she stood up and the chicks ran out and started searching for food.
I have been traveling so my apologies for not responding to all your posts.
