Looks like this is my last image for a while folks, seems I've hit the limits of what a free account can do. Since I already have my website I pay for every month I don't see the need for having another one although flickr has proved to be pretty good for networking. Maybe another time when money is more free. If you've liked what you've seen you can see more everyday at www.openroadimagery.com which will continue to be updated.

These people have the right idea; a couch, some chairs, big screen tv, satellite dish, and a living room lamp. Put up a few walls and you've got a house. Sometimes though its about thinking outside the box, or house in this case. You like how I turned it into a life lesson? Pretty slick if I do say so myself, and I do.

I don't expect that everyone will get or even like this image but to this day it is one of my most personal favorites. Its a bit of a "you had to be there moment" but I think its pretty self explanatory. The man on the right of the image is a regular around the ASU campus and I'm not sure who the man on the left is but he asked for the website so if we're lucky he will grace us with his presence and possibly an explanation to the situation as he saw it. Not all the confrontations with the regular end up this peaceful as I've seen on other occasions. To each his own I suppose but I do thank both men for making a personal favorite image of mine possible.

So my Dad claimed he knew how to do some crazy sailor knot or something to secure the anchor, I thought he was full of crap, but here's what he came up with. Looks like a mess to me but it worked and that's what counts.

On the way back from California we stopped at Lake Mead and rented a boat to cruise around for the better part of a day. In a couple hours we barely covered any of the lake since its so huge but we did see some cool stuff. When we were done we took the Dam Tour, I'll throw some pictures of that up later.

Here's part of that Dam Tour I was talking about, rest assured I took all the Dam pictures I wanted. I learned some cool stuff on the tour too most of which I have forgotten by now in my old age but I did remember one or two things. Apparently Las Vegas gets exactly 0% of its power from the Hoover Dam. Yep none. The contracts on the dam and its power are up in 2007 though so the renegotiations are supposed to be heated and interesting. Just something to watch in the future.
